The Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to bring back the much-anticipated Summer Concert Series at the picturesque River Bends Park, located at 5700 22 Mile Road. Starting from July 10 and rocking all the way through to August 7, each Wednesday promises an evening of melodious entertainment against the backdrop of serene parklands. This year, we’ve gone the extra mile to make every concert night unique, featuring not just live bands but also themed activities ranging from senior night to scout night, along with movie screenings under the stars.
Each concert night is curated to celebrate the vibrant community spirit of Shelby Township. Whether you’re swinging to the timeless classics of Sound Station on Senior Night or getting lost in the nostalgic tunes of Magic Monstering the music of the Woodstock era, there’s something for everyone. Special nights like Youth Sports/Movie Night encourage families to cheer for their home teams and then settle down for a screening of “Zootopia”.
